Definition:
Glitch in the Matrix stories are small but puzzling occurrences that have no logical explanation.
The name comes from the movie ‘The Matrix’.
Glitch in the Matrix stories evoke the feeling that the world is not as we’ve envisioned it to be.
It appears quantum immortality, quantum suicide, Mandela Effect, deja vu, parallel universes, precognition, dreams, time travel and even death are some how related to Glitches.
Possible Attributes of a Glitch
- Duplicates, sometimes with slight variations, sometimes mirrored
- Disappeared items sometimes return and sometimes don't
- Some experiences happen in the same or similar place or space
- Incomplete images/pictures - sections missing
- Appearance and disappearance of people, vehicles, animals, plants, objects, towns
- Motionless/suspended airplanes, vehicles, birds, animals, fish, people
- Random findings of a large number of a specific item - human molar teeth
- Teleported objects

Haunted House
I lived in this haunted house from the ages of 10 to 16.
I watched black figures walk around my bedroom, lights went on an off and doors opened and closed. All sorts of “Glitches” occurred.
I’ve spent my life trying to understand what was happening to me.
I will share a few of the more dramatic or recent Glitches I have experienced.
Magic
So many “magical”, glitchy things happen in our motorhome called Magic, I’ll just share a few.
My maiden, solo voyage in Magic occurred in the Spring of 1994. Magic and I went 15,000 miles in five months! It was quite an adventure with so many magical experiences and no one to talk to except on the weekends while doing events.
When I drove out of my parent’s driveway, I had a dash radio, all-in-one TV/radio/tape player and a portable radio. By the time I got to the end of the block, none of those devices worked. And they all started working when I returned to my parent’s driveway, five months later. It was a dramatic lesson in being alone and “going within”.
Repairmen, mechanics and helpers magically manifested almost daily. (I manifested Parker the next year.)
One Labor Day weekend, while traveling on what is known as “the loneliest highway in America” in Nevada because it is so isolated, we blew some sort of rod or something and coasted into the only gas station/store within 100 miles. AAA said they couldn’t get a tow truck to us for two days because of the holiday. Parker and I were discussing what to do, as we had to be at our next gig in one day. Suddenly in the driver’s side window appeared a man. He said, “Are you folks looking for a tow truck?” Shocked! we replied, “but where did you come from, they said it would be two days.” He said he just happened to be passing by when he heard the dispatcher and he just happens to have a truck heavy enough to tow an RV. We made it to our gig on time!
The fan belt broke and the mechanic said it would be two days before he could get one. Parker and I discussed how that was unacceptable. A few minutes later the confused mechanic came to us with a new, correct replacement belt he just found under the engine. No one knew where it came from. The still confused mechanic quickly repaired everything and sent us on our way, shaking his head.
Parker’s wallet disappeared. Magic was only 20.5′ long, so there weren’t a lot of places to hide. We both searched from one end to the other. About two months later, we returned from some where and there it was, on the inside entry step where we had stepped hundreds of times, since the wallet went missing, The contents were all intact.

Semi Encounter
In 1999 I was driving through the Arkansas mountains on a two lane highway in my motorhome. I came over a hill to meet two semi’s, side by side, there was no way to avoid a collision.
I screamed OMG, slammed on the brakes with both feet, grabbed the steering wheel as tight as I could and closed my eyes waiting for impact.
Nothing happened – I opened my eyes to see both semi’s following each other in their own lane.
This was NOT possible without an impact with my vehicle.
Conversation before it happened
I was housesitting in 1988 in the mountains of Arkansas. The owner advised us, after we moved in, that he didn’t want us to use the third floor. I had already set up my work space there and I hadn’t had an opportunity to move yet.
Unexpectedly, I hear the owner’s voice downstairs and a conversation he was having with my friend. I could clearly hear their conversation. I frantically packed up my stuff and moved it to the second floor.
I then went downstairs to say hello. To my great surprise, my friend said the owner wasn’t there. I shared the conversation I had heard and he said it didn’t happen.
The next day I was up on the second floor, where I was supposed to be and I hear the owner’s voice again and the EXACT conversation I had heard the day before.
I went downstairs again and this time he was really there, having the same conversation.
Teleported Lipstick & Kleenex
In 2023 a group of my friends were having lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, some of us stopped at a shop next to the restaurant and one of us proceeded on to another restaurant to wait for us.
I walked into the next restaurant and there on the table was my lipstick!
Shocked and confused, I asked my friend why my lipstick was on the table. She said the owner was cleaning up just before she came in and found it on the floor under the table my friend was now sitting at.
More confused, I looked in my purse to find my lipstick was indeed missing, along with my small kleenex pack.
When I mentioned my kleenex missing, my friend said, “You mean this”, as she presented my kleenex pack. I said, “Where did you get that?” She said, “I found it on the floor under the table, but it must not have been on the floor when the owner found the lipstick or she would have picked it up too.”
So, some how my lipstick and kleenex teleported to the restaurant before me – but not quite at the same time.

The Lipstick – Again
Two months later I couldn’t find my lipstick – again!
I looked all through my bag and around the apartment – nothing.
I had used it in the morning and put it back in my bag – now it was gone! I gave up and went to the shoe rack by the door to put on my shoes and as I pulled out my shoes, the lipstick shot off the shelf to the floor.
My lipstick was never by the door or the shoes!
Missing Oil
I have had a bottle of lavender in sesame oil sitting on the counter in my bathroom for about two months.
One morning I apparently, unknowingly, knocked it over. The lid didn’t fit securely and when I discovered it, I knew I was going to have a mess to clean up because about a cup of the oil was gone from the bottle.
I found one drop of oil on the counter – nothing anywhere!
I searched the drawers below – everywhere and it was nowhere to be found. Since it is oil, I don’t think it could have just evaporated in that short a time. There would have been a stain or something.
Just one drop was found!
Opal Ring Returns – Fixed
I have had an opal ring since I was nineteen. In my thirties the opal got chipped, so I put it away in a small bag with some other broken jewelry and I hadn’t seen it in years.
Suddenly, 50+ years later the ring appeared in my jewelry box…….and the opal was perfect!
Location Proximity
Notice how close the oil bottle is to where the ring was discovered.
I noticed a similar thing with my missing dress. It was in the same corner of the room a local Shaman said was a “portal”.
I don’t know if that is a “thing” or not, but I have experienced phenomena happening twice in the same, close proximity.
Reappearing Dress
I have a long, very colorful dress that I hadn’t worn in a while and I decided I wanted to wear it this day.
I looked where I usually kept it and it wasn’t there. Surprised, I looked everywhere it could possibly be – numerous times and couldn’t find it. I even asked my husband, Parker, if he had seen it. No, he had not and he helped me look in all the possible places. Nothing!
I even went up to the laundry area, as a last possible place. When I returned, I decided to look one more time where it was supposed to be.
Sure enough, there it was, with the colorful sleeve sticking out where it could not have possibly been missed.
4 Year Time Glitch
In my memory, in 1978 I was able to obtain a home mortgage, as a single woman, because the Equal Credit Opportunity Act had passed a few months prior to my applying.
I just saw this post made on Facebook saying the Act passed in 1974!
Imagine my shock!
I clearly remember all the complications with my bank to obtain the mortgage, as they tried to navigate the new law.
Some how there is a four year difference??????
